Borut Pirnat Founder, InterRadish Managed George directly

He joined the timing team for a few events and I had a chance to see him not only work hard as a Timekeeper but to take input from us as operators and the client in Race Control and roll out improvements on almost an hourly basis! He is a complete package of hard work, knowledge, skill, experience, empathy, and fun.

02 Case study · Motorsport

Race control software, engineered for live sessions.

Race officials make decisions in seconds, and the software in front of them has to be right every time. I design and deliver the systems they rely on: timing, GPS and telemetry from every car merged into one operational view, signals sent to the track and into the cars, and sporting regulations checked automatically as the race unfolds. I take this work from requirements agreed with race directors, through architecture and development, to deployment and live support at the circuit.

What I deliver

Live data fusion

Timing, GPS and telemetry from every car, merged and delivered to every screen in real time.

Trackside and in-car signalling

Flags and messages to light panels, in-car displays and teams, with confirmed delivery.

Automated regulation checks

Sporting rules translated into precise, configurable checks that run for every car, all session.

Evidence and decision workflow

Incidents with video and data, reports for the stewards, and decisions returned to official timing.

Who uses it

  • Race director & clerk of the courseControl the session, show flags and decide on incidents.
  • StewardsLook at the evidence and give penalties.
  • Race control operatorsWatch the screens and prepare the cases.
  • DriversGet the flags on trackside light panels and on a display inside the car.
  • Timing teamReceive decisions directly in the official timing and results.

04 Why work with me

Experience from environments where failure is visible.

  • Composure under pressure

Years of releasing and supporting systems during live sessions, alongside the officials who depend on them. Issues are diagnosed and resolved methodically, without disrupting the operation.

  • Direct client partnership

I work with stakeholders directly: defining requirements, training operators and remaining the technical point of contact after delivery. Decisions are made with the people who use the system.

  • End-to-end ownership

Architecture, development, deployment, networking, hardware integration and live support, delivered as one accountable service.

07 How I work

Four steps, no surprises.

  1. 01

    Understand

I talk to the people who will use the system, not only to the people who pay for it. Then I write down what “done” means.

  2. 02

    Build

Small, working increments that you can see and test. Plain architecture and code that your team can maintain.

  3. 03

    Deploy & train

Installed, configured and checked on your infrastructure. Your operators learn it hands-on before go-live.

  4. 04

    Support

I stay with the system when it runs for real, and I fix problems fast. Remote or on-site.

08 About

Hi, I’m George.

I have more than ten years of experience delivering high-performance software. I specialise in rapid, mission-critical development: reliable, efficient systems built to tight deadlines. Much of my work runs in live motorsport, where systems are tested in public and in real time. I bring the same standard to business applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.

My work covers the complete lifecycle — requirements with clients and race officials, architecture, development, deployment and support on site — for clients across Europe, North America and Asia.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Informatics from the University of Economic Studies, Bucharest. I work through Batetastatura, my own company, with clients who need software that performs when it matters.
